WHOIS lookup
Check registrar, dates, nameservers, status, and DNS for any domain. IP addresses are looked up with RDAP. Data comes from registry RDAP and WHOIS — not a scraped directory.
FAQ
What is WHOIS?
WHOIS is the public record for a domain: registrar, creation and expiry dates, nameservers, and status. Newer lookups use RDAP, the JSON replacement for port-43 WHOIS.
Why is registrant contact hidden?
GDPR and registry privacy rules redact most personal contacts. Registrar, dates, and nameservers usually remain public.
Do .pk domains work?
Yes. gTLDs such as .com use RDAP. .pk is queried via PKNIC WHOIS because the public RDAP bootstrap does not cover that zone yet.
